It was an absolute pleasure to be in our Assembly Hall today as a fantastic group of pupils came to collect their GCSE results. The sense of achievement from pupils, parents, guardians and staff was contagious.
Yet again the pupils excelled, with 63% achieving at least five GCSE grades including English and Mathematics. This maintains the high standards we have come to accept from St Joseph’s. We are delighted that the hard work our pupils put into making these results a success has paid off handsomely and it is without doubt that this could not have been accomplished without the support and assistance of the parents and families of these boys and the wider St Joseph’s community.
Our staff yet again went beyond what is normally expected and it was clear that these efforts were appreciated by everyone in the Assembly Hall today. The nervous but excited boys who entered our school five years ago left today as a great bunch of young men.
