Year 12 students from class 12BF participated in training for the school Paired Reading Programme. The training was delivered by literacy specialist Mrs Kate O’Hanlon, and the boys are now skilled in peer mentoring. They will work with a Year 8 class for approximately 8 weeks each morning, focusing on improving reading fluency and promoting supportive student peer relations. Many thanks to our wonderful Year 12 volunteers and Kate O’Hanlon for her knowledge, skill and infectious enthusiasm.
