> Pastoral Care
We in St Joseph’s have a responsibility for the care, welfare, safety and Spiritual wellbeing of the pupils in our charge, and we will carry out this duty through our Pastoral Care Provision, which aims to provide a caring, supportive and safe environment through which pupils can ‘ Develop to their potential and make life long learning the focus within an enjoyable, supportive environment.

We aim to encourage each pupil to become spiritually, personally, emotionally and physically effective and to lead a healthy, safe and fulfilling lives.

We strive to achieve this through our Pastoral Care programme where each pupil is allocated to classes with an assigned Form Teacher. This teacher can relate personally with his/her group and get to know them as individuals and take responsibility for their development.

As a Catholic school, St Joseph’s strives to meet the individual Pastoral needs of each pupil. The Pastoral Care provision aims to develop good home school links through our Pastoral Team of Form Teacher, Year Head, Student Support officer and Senior Management Team.
